Florida’s oldest surviving bank building that reopened after the Civil War as the Freedom Savings and Trust Company for emancipated slaves. It later served as a shoe factory, beauty shop, feed store and church. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it houses special exhibits from the Florida A&M University Black Archives.
